Spotty Green Frog Launches Worm Compost Workshops

The Spotty Green Frog team have launched worm composting workshops in Hampshire. Bookings are now being taken for these primary school workshops. 

Did you know that in a single day some worms eat their entire body weight in food?

Or that worms will compost lots of different types of organic material even dog poo?

With a quiz, live worms and lots of worm facts, children at the workshops will learn about the process and benefits of recycling food and other waste using a worm composter.

Teaching younger generations about worm composting is not only important for a more sustainable future but is also a fantastic way to get children excited about gardening.  Gardeners refer to worm compost as Black Gold because of its value as an organic fertiliser.
